Dochasan Lasair, or Hope's Flame in the Gaelic language, is lead by Captain Aodhain Kelley.

The Dragonfly-Class Transport, having been a standard Independent Faction vessel during the War, is built for functionality, not flash. One might think on first glance that the ship is just another ten-year-old transport vessel; those with a keener eye and sharper mind know that the Dragonfly earned distinction from the troops for being a reliable piece of kit and as loyal as any soldier.

Painted in red on the side of the ship is the name: 'Dochasan Lasair', standing out in contrast to the silvery-blue hue of the rest of the ship's paint. On the top side of the nose of the ship, on the tops of the thrusters and wings, and also on the top of the body of the ship is painted the image of flames -- the innermost are yellow which then fade into red and purple and lastly blue.

Originally captained by Craig Keizai (aka Captain Mischief), the Dochasan Lasair replaced an older vessel that was shot down in a fracas. After Mischief was captured by his old enemies and tortured, his XO Morgaine Kygaran took over as captain. After Morgaine Kygaran's mysterious illness and subsequent death, the ship is now captained by Aodhain Kelley.

[edit] Recent Events

[Jan 2522] - Cara Andryovich-Enyad was killed, a victim of the terrorist bombings on Paquin. After her funeral, members of the crew attended a hunting party, to revenge her death, however the terrorists blew themselves up.

The Dochasan Lasair is now hiring. We are currently looking for those who will fit with the current crew. We are slightly to the shady side but still very honorable as a crew. We're currently looking for Security, Pilots, Cooks, Doctors, and anybody else who wants to give us a try. People from all walks of life are welcome.
